HRC KIT
22 Juli 2001 15:54
Hi, I like to know some more about this kit.
I was informed that it was sold by a firma called Kønnerman, Koenermann oder Konnermann or somthing sounding like that. They should have advertized regulary in "Motorrad", but I have never found them. Can any of You give me some info on where I can find this company or other dealing and installing HRC kit's.
Please reply by e-mail.
Thanks
Arvid

hi arvid!
first of all the company's name is Könnemann. they are bimota importer for germany and also did and do some grey import of japanese m/c.
the hrc-kit is meant to be used with xr engines, which are quite different from your gb engine. this engine has a different (longer) stroke. for the rod has the same length the piston isn't as high as the gb/xbr-piston. hrc also delivers a camshaft, which might make sense (we will be testing soon) and a primary drive (for off-road application) which makes no sense. they charged about e 1300,- (dm 2500,-) in the past.
it is much easier to use a xl 600r cylinder and piston and modify the head.
we will offer a complete kit soon with modified cylinder, xl-piston modified head and a hotter cam for about e 800,- (dm 1500,-).
check out for our website: www.mainjet.de
regards to norway!

Hi Arvid,
I think the dealer you are looking for is "Koenemann".
His shop is located at: earth/germany/lower saxony/Schneverdingen
You can visit his site at www.ztk.de . However, it seems to be german language only, so you might prefer to email him: Kontakt@ztk.de
Sorry, I dunno if he deals with this stuff.
When it comes to the 628ccm HRC kit Johannes should be able to give you further information (just wait a moment, he checks out the forum regularly). I remember from a very old email of him he once talked to a guy who told him the kit would fit the XBR.
cu,
Lutz

Moin Moin,
Gang oben.
Benötigt werden aber beide E. Schaltpläne.
Oder www.Schottmeier.de
Gruß Albert
